Liam's Four Months

Liam-

You are Four Months Old!

What have you been up too?

You are drinking 5-6 ounces of Mommy's milk every 3 hours during the day & wake at least once a night for a feeding. You gave Mommy a great birthday gift-you slept through the night. You teased Mommy & Daddy by sleeping two nights in a row & are now back to waking at least once a night for a feeding and once a night for a diaper change & wanting your bub. You are still taking the medicine for the acid reflux, but Daddy & Mommy want to talk to your pediatrician as you are rarely spitting up anymore. We don't want you to be on medicine if you don't have to be.

You are wearing stage 2-3 diapers. You are wearing 3-6 months clothes.

You are beginning to wake up happy in the mornings. Mommy loves hearing you cooing and talking to yourself as you wake up. You are the happiest in the mornings, but also have happy periods during the afternoon and evening.

You remain awake after a feeding for longer and longer periods of time. You have been a happier baby lately with less fussing and crying. You have only been crying when you have a full diaper or are hungry. You can go from a happy, smiling baby to a screaming, tears in the eyes, red in the face baby, when you realize you are hungry.

You enjoy being on your play mat, in your rocking chair, in your walker and/or being held.

You are reaching for toys on your play mat and love your rings. You are starting to become irritated when on your back and you can't get to what you want. You pull your legs up to your chest and turn to your side, but you haven't rolled yet. You enjoy your tummy time for short periods of time.

You love your animals on your rocking chair and just sit there, smiling and talking to them.

You will sit in the bumbo, but it's a tight fit, so you don't enjoy it for very long.

You enjoy being in your stroller for walks.

You really enjoy when Daddy, Mommy & Landon talk to you. Daddy & Mommy have noticed a difference this month in how you interact and respond to Landon.

You have had another busy month. You went on your first over night trip to Pappy & Grammy's, without Daddy or Mommy. You enjoyed a sleep over at Pappy & Nana's. You outgrew your tubbie sling & now sit in the tubbie for your baths. Which you seem to like-you sit up higher and straighter & can see around.

You went to Raystown Lake for the first time. You loved it & slept the entire time, when you weren't eating of course.
You went to your first Creps Family Picnic in Martinsburg, Pa. Everyone enjoyed meeting you.

You enjoyed time with your cousin Mason & Landon.

You helped celebrate Mommy's birthday.You were baptised at St. Paul United Methodist church on 8-29-2010. You are a very blessed boy! So many of your family, friends & church family were there to witness this & share in celebrating with us.
You wore the same outfit that Landon wore for his baptism. Mommy joked that she had you on a diet the month before to ensure that you would fit into it!

You enjoyed a few pool days-at the Memorial Pool & the Caledonia Pool.

You enjoyed a family picnic at Caledonia.

You watched in awe at Landon playing on the playground & your Daddy & Landon playing baseball & football. You enjoyed a stroller ride as we walked on a trail.

It was another fun month. Your Daddy & I love watching you grow & do things for the first time.

We love watching you & Landon interact.

We are looking forward to the next month-to see what all you do for the first time.
