Landon & I had a Mommy & Me Weekend while Daddy was spending a weekend with his friends skiing & spending time at the hunting camp.
On Saturday we were awake early, played with Landon's tractors, trucks, and firehouse, we read books, had peanut butter toast for breakfast and got dressed, all before 8:30am! We then went and picked up Nana and headed out to do a little shopping. I have been looking for about a month for Landon's Easter outfit and as you know finding a dress outfit for a little guy is very difficult! We went to Target-didn't find an outfit, but did buy Landon a new big boy potty seat. (one that sits right on the toilet seat-he loves it!) We then drove to Hagerstown, bought Landon's upcoming birthday supplies at Party City, enjoyed an awesome Chick-fil-A lunch and then went to Target-again. We did find an Easter outfit for Landon-yea! At this point, Landon was getting tired, so we headed home. Landon fell asleep and enjoyed a cat nap on the way back to Chambersburg, he of course woke up as soon as we pulled into Nana & Pappy's driveway. We of course had to go inside & play with Nana & Pappy's toys. Once we made it home, around 2:15pm Landon watched Thomas the Train while Mommy put things away. It took several attempts to get Landon to sleep for his nap. He laid down for about 20 minutes and then began saying 'Mommy wake me up". I love this! He's awake, but never gets out of his bed, unless we go get him, so rather than saying 'Mommy, get me out of bed', he says 'Mommy wake me up'. So cute! He finally did sleep for a little while. Once he woke up, we headed to visit for the evening with Amanda, Reagan and Morgan. Amanda made a yummy dinner and Landon enjoyed playing with the girls, despite them only having girlie toys! We came home, read a few books, I put Landon to bed and then rested and enjoyed the peace of quiet before going to bed myself.
On Sunday, we were awake, watched cartoons, had breakfast, dressed & out the door to go to Giant all before 8:30am. We went to Giant, Landon loves driving/riding in the 'new cars' (the carts with the cars in the front), so he navigated throughout the store for Mommy. We were in & out within 30 mintues, but still spent a fortune! Our company, Tina & Ethan arrived around 12 & we played & visited until the guys arrived around 12:30 from their Man Weekend. We all went for lunch & returned back to our house to play in the playroom. After our company left, Landon crashed for his nap-a very much needed nap. Once he woke up, we all went to visit w/ Nana, Pappy & Uncle Davey for a few hours. We made it home in time to get ready for bed & watch Landon's favoroite tv show-the funny show-America's Funniest Home Videos. Mommy & Daddy went to bed shortly after Landon-Mommy was exhausted from a weekend w/ Landon & Daddy was exhausted from a weekend of late nights w/ his friends!

Baby Sonogram-27wks & 3 days
Aaron & I were fortunate enough to have another sonogram today! (per a recommendation from the high risk OB) It was amazing to see our little guy again! With not having had this opportunity while I was expecting with Landon, it was amazing to see the difference that 7 weeks makes-he looked more human like! Below are several pictures-the technician tried & tried to get a better picture/view of his face, but he wasn't having it! He had his hands/arms & legs up near his face! Aaron couldn't believe that he remained like that during the entire 30 minute sonogram-my favorite comment that he made..."no wonder you are so uncomfortable, he looks like a pretzal in there" hehe Enjoy the pictures!

Baby 27 weeks
*Dear Baby No Name-
You are getting downright chubby as fat deposits continue accumulating beneath your skin, which looks pink because blood vessels are so close to the surface. The placenta is now almost fully developed. You are about 9.25-9.50 inches long, you weigh about 2-2.25 pounds and are the size of a sock monkey!
We have about 93 more days to go! Cannot wait to finally meet you!
Love you,
Mommy
Your Daddy & I gave ourselves the deadline of the end of this month to name you, but we cannot seem to agree on a name yet! You will have a name before you arrive into this world, I promise!
Mommy is 27 weeks now!
Love you,
Mommy
Daddy, Mommy, Landon, Nana, Pappy & Nana all ventured in Nana's 'rocket' to Baltimore for the day. We told Landon that we were going on a special trip, he asked 'a secret mission like the Little Einsteins?' We left Nana & Pappy's house around 7:45am, stopped for breakfast in Hagerstown. On our drive, Mommy gave Landon more and more tips and details about our speical day. We arrived in Baltimore around 10:40am. We made our way into the aquarium, heading straight to the Dolphin Show.
Landon thought we were going to see a whale show, but once he saw the dolphins, he was still excited. He sat through the entire show without saying much, other than having a huge smile on his face!
He loved when the dolphins jumped high out of the water or swam with their trainers. He thought we may get splashed, however Mommy had chosen a seat where we wouldn't get splashed & luckily did not!
After the dolphin show, we went to the Jellies Invasion. Landon loved this as well, although he said 'eeww' at every tank. We looked at every tank w/ the jelly fish in.
We left Baltimore around 3:30pm, after a fun filled day at the aquarium.

Baby Appointment
We had our appointment for you this morning. Mommy is 26 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Daddy & Landon came along to the appointment. Landon was very excited to hear your heartbeat! We saw Dr. Rosado today, she delivered Landon. We talked all about you-Mommy always has questions for the doctors. Mommy filled out the necessary paperwork. Mommy's blood pressure was a little different today and I am having swelling in my hands and ankles, so Dr. Rosado is sending Mommy for a few tests tomorrow morning. One is the glucose test-Mommy has to drink a liquid, tastes like orange soda, and then have some blood drawn. Mommy & Daddy scheduled another ultrasound for next Wednesday, February 24, 2010-we are very excited to be able to see you again! Daddy, Landon & I listened to your heartbeat today-it was between 144-150. We love hearing your heartbeat-brings smiles to us all. You kicked a few times while we were listening to your heartbeat. Your older brother Landon wanted to hear the baby in his belly's heartbeat too, so once Mommmy was done, Landon crawled up on the table and listened to his baby's heartbeat. He was so excited, his face just lit up, but he was also being shy and kept his hands over his face. Once Mommy was finished asking all of her questions, we scheduled our next appointment for you, next week, February 25th.
You are really beginning to move around and kick more-your favorite times are after lunch, in the evening and when Mommy & Daddy go to bed. You are about 9-9.25 inches long, weigh about two pounds, and you are about the size of a Liter of soda! You are growing so quickly in there! I apologize in advance because soon you will be out of room in there!
Love you,
Mommy

Baby 25 Weeks
Baby No Name,
You are 25 weeks and 2 days. You are about 8.5-9 inches long, weigh about 1.5-2 lbs and are the size of a 5 lb. bag of flour! Your eyes are open now, perhaps even blinking and closing when you sleep. The nerves around your mouth are becoming sensitive as you prepare to be able to suckle and nourish your own body after birth.
You are continuing to kick throughout the day and the kicks are still nice & feel good! Mommy enjoys feeling you kick & every now & then you kick for Daddy and your big brother, Landon.
Love you,
Mommy
Snow Day 2010
Mommy had a Snow Day on February 10, 2010! It began snowing the day before around lunch time, snowing off & on throughout the night and snowed all day Wednesday. We have so much snow!! Estimated amounts are at least 12-15 inches, in addition to the 18+inches we already had!!
You enjoyed playing outside in the snow again, although since it was so windy, you were only able to be out for short periods of time. You would stand along the garage door to help block the crazy winds. You helped Daddy shovel some of the driveway, on Daddy's third shoveling! Luckily a nice neighbor on his four-wheeler w/ a blow came to Daddy's rescue!! You enjoyed a cup of hot cocoa once you came in the house for good this evening.

Blizzard 2010
Your First Blizzard! The snow began Friday, February 5th in the early afternoon and finally stopped on Saturday, February 6th in the mid-afternoon. We're not really sure how much snow we actually have because of all of the winds and snow drifting! Some new reports estimate about 15-18+ inches.
You LOVED playing in the snow! You helped Daddy shovel Friday evening before bed, early Saturday morning, in the afternoon on Saturday and when you woke up Sunday morning, wanted to go out and play right away.
You built tunnels with Daddy, made snow angels and enjoyed throwing snowballs.
Once you came in from the snow you loved drinking a warm cup of hot cocoa.

Baby No Name,
You are 24 weeks, almost 25, almost into the Third Trimester of this amazing pregnancy. You are about 8-8.5 inches long & weigh 1.25-1.5 pounds! You are about the size of a 1/2 gallon of milk!
Your heartbeat has been good during all of Mommy's check-ups,b/w 140-155. You are really beginning to move around and kick. I love feeling you kick!! Your Daddy finally felt you kick 2 weeks ago.
I hope that you are enjoying your time in my belly, but there are so many people that cannot wait to meet you! Your older brother Landon is so excited! He asks me every day when you'll be here. He loves that you are going to be able to wear all of his clothes, sleep in his crib and play with his toys. He's going to be a great big brother for you!
Your Daddy & I cannot decide or agree on a name for you! Sorry, but you will be named by the end of this month. Any suggestions?
Love you,

Landon's Life At 33 Months
Landon,
You are such a joy to my life! You are 2 years & 9 months old.
You are wearing 4T clothing. You wear 'big boy underpants' throughout the whole day, except for naptime. You love getting an M&M everytime you use the potty.
You LOVE eating! Your Dad & I haven't found much that you don't or won't eat. You love blueberry muffins, cherrios, frosted mini wheats, pasta, mac-n-cheese, soup, bolonga sandwiches, EVERY fruit, broccolli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, carrots, peas, cheese crunchies, yogurt, raisins, fishes, pretzals, and many, many more. You love drinking milk, water and juice. Although you are well aware that I water down your juice, so you have even begun to ask for water and apple juice!
You love playing & playing hard! You enjoy playing football, baseball, basketball, and golf. You enjoy playing with your firehouse, trucks/cars, and tractors. You LOVE reading and read several books throughout the day. Your favorite books now are: The Hungry Catepillar, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, and Little People on the Farm. You also enjoy listening to stories read to you from "Your First Bible" book. You enjoy watching Thomas the Train, Bob the Builder, Elmo, The Little People, The Funny Show and Barney. You enjoy puzzles and playing board games, Candy Land and Connect Four.
You talk in full sentences. You ask "why" and "where" about everything. You are very interested in learning and hearing about everything. You know your ABC's and can count to 16. You are beginning to recongize and name red, blue, orange, green, yellow, and purple. You enjoy rewards of money from Miss Debbie when you say your numbers, ABC's or colors. You know your name, Mommy and Daddy's first name, and you know that you live in Shippensburg.
You want to do everything that your Daddy does. You wake up every morning & the first thing you say when I walk into your room is "My Daddy?" The answer is always the same, "Daddy is working, but Mommy is here with you". You normally let out a little whimper but get over it in a second.
You love spending time with your family and get very excited when we go visit or people come over to visit.
It's amazing to me how quickly your little life is going. You will be 3 years old in just 3 short months.
Love you!
