As my maternity leave is quickly approaching
it's end, I have been taking advantage of the time I have
left at home with the boys.

Today we went to visit Daddy while he was working.

Landon was in his glory!! He wanted to wear his
Lumberjack shirt,
Daddy's work helmet
& brought along his chainsaw.

He watched his Daddy in his Boom in Awe!

Landon watched Daddy use the chipper...from afar....

Landon helped Daniel rake...

Landon helped Daddy use the

leaf blower to clean up...

And then Daddy cleaned off Landon...

Unfortunately, we did not get there in time to

really see Daddy in action, but Landon still loved it

& was very upset when he

couldn't stay & work with Daddy.

Landon fell asleep within the first 10 minutes
on the drive home. When he woke up, he
said he was really tired from working
so hard with Daddy & asked when
he could do it again!!

A Day Out w/ Thomas the Train

Yesterday was Our Day Out with Thomas the Train!

This was Landon's third trip to Strasburg, PA to see Thomas & he loves it & seems to enjoy it more & more each year. This was Liam's First trip to meet Thomas! Pappy & Nana also went with us & we met Tina & Ethan there as well.

It was a great day! Landon did a great job-no meltdowns all day long!! He was really happy to be there.

We rode Thomas the Train, which is about a 20 minute ride...

the boys rode on some of the smaller rides...

we had lunch...

the boys rode a few more rides...

we rode on the Strasburg Train, which is about a 45 minute ride...

& Landon wanted to ride the Cranky Cars
one last time before we left the day.

Landon fell asleep on the trip home, but only slept about 30 minutes.

He was exhausted once bedtime came!!

Our Helper

Aaron & I have included Landon in as much of Liam's pregnancy, labor & delivery as we thought was appropriate for a toddler. We have included Landon in every activity that we do with Liam since we brought Liam home from the hospital.
Landon is such a Big Help & a Great Big Brother!

He helps with diaper changes, bath time, singing to Liam when he is upset, talking to him throughout the day, & feeding Liam. He has also been interested in Mommy & pumping breast milk for Liam. He walks around saying 'I need to pump.' A few evenings ago, he insisted that he
'needed' to pump & was getting himself ready on the couch while Aaron & I were tending to Liam. This is what we found........

Hahaha!!

Liam's One Month Wellness Check

Liam had his ONE month wellness check this morning with our favorite pediatrician-Dr. Hannagan. He weighed in at 11.1 pounds-which places him in the 75-90th percentile. He is 21 &1/4 inches-which places him in the 50th percentile. He's growing & filling out-has the beginning of the leg rolls-love them!!

Dr. Hannagan completed her examine & thinks he looks great. She asked me what size Landon was at his 1-month. Being that I have 'mommy brain', I couldn't remember, so once I came home, I checked his baby book. At one month, Landon weighed just 9 pounds & 3.5 ounces and was 21 inches long. So...it looks like our little peanut is already outweighing Landon at this age! Wow!

Liam will see the pediatrician again in July for his 2-month wellness check. Anxious to see how much he'll have grown by then!

One Month

Liam-

You are ONE Month Old today!! I can't believe it. I am pretty sure that time is going even faster now, which I didn't think was possible. What have you been up too?

You are drinking about 3 & 1/2 to 4 ounces of Mommy's milk every 3-4 hours. You Love eating. You get so excited, waving your arms up by your face & then trying to put your fists in your mouth along with the bottle. You are beginning to gain weight and fill out.
You are wearing stage 1 diapers. You are having more wakeful periods throughout the day time. You are able to sleep through anything-your older brother, Landon, Mommy vacuuming, music/singing at church, loud restaurants, and/or Mommy's blow dryer. You are a good baby-very easy going. You only cry when you need a diaper change, are having your diaper changed or when Daddy is giving you a bath. When you do cry, Landon sings songs to you to help soothe you and make you happy. You make many funny faces while you are sleeping-raising your eyebrows, an Elvis face, smiles and etc.

You are looking around more. You perk up when you hear Mommy, Daddy and Landon's voices. You are such a blessing in our lives! We look forward to watching you grow & experience all of your 'firsts'.

We love you!
Mommy
