Happy Six Month Birthday! You are Half a Year Old!
What have you been up too?
You weigh about 21 pounds & 1 ounce-our little chunky monkey.
You are drinking 7 ounces of Mommy's milk, sometimes supplemented w/ formula since Mommy can't keep up w/ you. You are eating every 3-6 hours. You started sleeping through the end on October 18th, but then you got sick w/ a chest cold and began waking up again throughout the night. I don't blame you though you were so stuffy. You were on nebulizer treatments for a little over a week. You coughed so hard, we thought you were going to cough up a lung.
You began rolling onto your belly on October 20th during the night and seemed to enjoy sleeping on your belly. You still are not eating solids. Mommy & Daddy have been trying for almost 2 months. We've tried rice cereal, oatmeal, bananas, peaches, pears and applesauce. We've tried room temperature and warm. We've tried different spoons. You are just not the least bit interested.
You have grown out of your 6 month clothes...ruining my plan of you wearing Landon's clothing-ha! You are wearing 9-12 month clothing. You are wearing stage 3-4 diapers.
You have two teeth! They are on the bottom. You love smiling & we love seeing you smile!!
ou love talking, cooing, and interacting w/ others. You become upset if everyone leaves the room. When you hear Landon's voice, you immediately begin searching the room for him and you get the biggest grin on your face.
You have a fake cough now,which is so cute. You have a surprised look that makes Mommy laugh everytime!
You like playing with your duckie, your frog, ball, butterfly, and caterpillar. You enjoy lying on your playmat and rolling around on the floor. You enjoy your seat, as long as you have a toy to play with. You enjoy sitting on the floor, but are still wobbly and need support.
What all have you done this past Month?
Celebrated Grammy, Pappy & Nanny's Birthdays.
Helped Mommy through her surgery & recovery.
Visited Reynold's Farm and the pumpkin patch for the first time.
Began a new daycare on Mommy's first day back to work (after 2 weeks off) on October 20th.
Had a playdate with Olivia who is 1 month younger than Liam.
Celebrated Ship Homecoming & your First Ship football game.
Had family photos taken.
Your First Halloween. You were a Tootsie Roll.
Visited w/ the Feather Family. Celebrated Daddy's Birthday.
We enjoyed another month of you learning new things &
seeing your personality coming out.
No matter what for mood Mommy is in,
the second I see your smiling face & blue eyes,
my heart melts!!
